About

I grew up in West Philadelphia in the 1980's and attended the University of Pennsylvania in the 1990's where I studied anthropology. I firmly believe that everyone would benefit from learning about both anthropology and psychology. It would be like having a learner's manual for being human and help us better understand ourselves and others.

Fast forward to the early 2000's when I decided to homeschool my then four-year-old child and founded a learning center for homeschoolers that was experiential, self-directed, and nature based. Every day was a different adventure and challenge. The center closed in 2022 after 17 years.

I graduated from Arcadia University's counseling program in 2023 in order to start a new chapter supporting clients in their mental health journeys.

I live in Mt Airy with my husband and multiple cats.
